    • Stewardship Central

Luke 20:16 - "He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others."  When they heard this, they said, "surely not!" The crowds were shocked at Jesus' parable because they took the grace of God for granted.  They never thought that God would actually take "the vineyard" away from them. But we only have access to God by faith.  And we can drive faith and the Holy Spirit away. That is the warning of the parable. The Lord has graciously given us His Kingdom. Let us not take it for granted, but instead let us respond with humble thanksgiving!

    • From Holy Scripture:

"You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love."

      Galatians 5:13

    • Prayer

Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, your mercies are new every morning, and though we have in no way deserved your goodness, you still abundantly provide for all our wants of body and soul. Give us, we pray, your Holy Spirit that we may heartily acknowledge your merciful goodness toward us, give thanks for all your benefits, and serve you in willing obedience; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

    • The Lutheran Hour

"Life Worth Living" (Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler) Strikingly, Jesus calls us to hate life in this world, not because he wants hateful people.  Rather, he wants us to more deeply love true life. (John 12:12-36) Enjoy listening to the Lutheran Hour Sundays on WCCO 830AM at 6:05, KDOM 1580AM 10:00 am or KDOM 94.3FM at 10:00am.
